Product Qualification

Reliateck technology product qualification is the process of certifying that a certain product has passed performance and/or quality assurance tests or qualification requirements stipulated in regulations such as a building code and nationally accredited test standards, or that it complies with a set of regulations governing quality and/or minimum performance requirements.

Reliateck reliability testing is the activity of providing evidence needed to establish quality in work, and that activities that require good quality are being performed effectively.  All those planned, or systematic actions necessary to provide enough confidence that a product or service will satisfy the given requirements for reliability.

Reliateck reliability testing is a valuable process to perform on a whole consumer and commercial technology product testing, the operation of a product until it fails, often under stresses such as increasing vibration, temperature and humidity.  This exposes many unanticipated weaknesses in a product, and the data is used to drive engineering and manufacturing process improvements.  Often quite simple changes can dramatically improve product service, such as changing to mould-resistant paint or adding lock-washer placement to the training for new assembly personnel.

This methodology applies to the qualification of all semiconductor processes, products, packages and materials used by the manufacturer including:

  • New Product design, processes, Packages, Products, Wafer Foundries, Assembly Subcontractors.
  • Changes to Products, Processes, Packages, Materials, Locations, Design Rules.

Successful completion of the qualification process is a precursor to a design receiving approval to be released for sale or for a manufacturing or assembly process to be approved.
