Component Screening (CS)

The analysis of components entering the manufacturing process is necessary at every stage, from incoming materials to installed components in finished products. By implementing a screening program, OEMs, CMs, and others involved in manufacturing can screen more easily for non-compliant materials, especially when components may contain materials with exemptions such as lead (Pb) in ceramic capacitor casings.

Easy screening for:

• Components in bulk to verify compliance before they enter the manuacturing process.
• Components at any part of the manufacturing process - on the assembly line, or the ware house floor, and anywhere in the world.
• Individual small components in a finished product. The available small-spot measurement system allows users to better isolate and analyze individual small components such as leads or terminals on populated PCBs
